Diana Ross : When you tell me that you love me, the deeper meaning of love

This song reminds me of the deeper meaning of love. Not only the time when there is a word of affection or attention to our soulmate. But that makes it more meaningful relationship is when we need each other. "I'm schining like a candle in the dark, when you tell me that you love me". Love can make us do everything for our loved ones. Becomes meaningful for him, is an inner satisfaction that immeasurably. Always be the best and the first will wipe away the tears in times of sad. Always needed by people we love. Instead, it would be very painful if wasted by the beloved.

When You Tell Me That You Love Me

I wanna call the stars
Down from the sky
I wanna live a day
That never dies
I wanna change the world
Only for you
All the impossible
I wanna do
I wanna hold you close
Under the rain
I wanna kiss your smile
And feel the pain
I know whats beautiful
Looking at you
In a world of lies
You are the truth
And baby
Everytime you touch me
I become a hero
I’ll make you safe
No matter where you are
And bring you
Everything you ask for
Nothing is above me
I’m shining like a candle in the dark
When you tell me that you love me
I wanna make you see
Just what I was
Show you the loneliness
And what it does
You walked into my life
To stop my tears
Everything’s easy now
I have you here
And baby
Everytime you touch me
I become a hero
I’ll make you safe
No matter where you are
And bring you
Everything you ask for
Nothing is above me
I’m shining like a candle in the dark
When you tell me that you love me
In a world without you
I would always hunger
All I need is your love to make me stronger
And baby
Everytime you touch me
I become a hero
I’ll make you safe
No matter where you are
And bring you
Everything you ask for
Nothing is above me
I’m shining like a candle in the dark
When you tell me that you love me
You love me
When you tell me that you love me

Indecent Obsession : Boy Band from the land of kangaroo

Indecent Obsession. Yeaahh, one of the boy band that ever existed in the music scene. They are from Australia. Established in 1987, in Brisbane.

The first group consists of, David Dixon (vocals), Andre Coyne (guitar), Michael Szumowski (keyboards), and Daryl Sims (drums).

Discovered by musician, journalist, and a renowned producer of Australia, Molly Meldrum, IO, so Indecent Obsession commonly called, they surprised the Australian public, through their debut album, "Spoken Words", in 1989, under the record label Melodian, which also produced by one of their members, Michael Szumowski.

Their single, "Say Goodbye", perched rated first Australian Hot 10, in August, 1989. Feel less enough just to take part in the country, they put out an album titled the same as the name of the band, "Indecent Obsession", which is the American version, from their debut album.

But their plans to expand to the US, to no avail, because the Americans were feverish boy bands of their own country, New Kids on the Block.

At the end of the 1980s, until the early 1990s, who is not familiar with the name NKOTB?, Which is the most successful boy band in history. Automatic, IO step, to enter the market in the United States, is a step in vain.

successfully penetrate the markets of other countries in get by IO, when the release of their third album, "Indio" in 1992.

Not America, but South Africa, which is capable they conquered with this album. Besides South Africa, the Asian markets, including Indonesia, have started their entering.

Three singles mainstay of this album, "Indio", "gentelman Style", and "Rebel With a Cause", successfully pushed on the stairs of the song in their own country, South Africa, and Japan.

The success achieved on the third album, could not resist this group of divisions. The vocalist, David Dixon, came out in 1993, because of concerns over his career as an actor. after David out, then followed by Andre Coyne, who prefer to pursue a solo career as a guitarist. Andre, had become the world's touring guitarist for singer Tommy Page, in 1990/91.

Michael Szumowski, and Daryl Sims, the two remaining members of the IO, then decided to pass on this group, to recruit new members.

As a results, Richard Hennassey (vocals), Mark Gray (bass), and Graham Kearns (guitar), complete the formation of IO, the second stage.

The first album with this lineup, "Relativity", successfully released in 1994. They involve a Japanese singer, Mari Hamada, on one of their most successful song in the market, "Fixing a Broken Heart".

Besides their flagship single, "Lady Rain", was also a great success in the charts in Japan, and Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. But this album did not achieve success in South Africa, as their previous albums.

Their last album issued a collection of the best songs they ever issued since the first album until the last album. Titled "The Most Indecent Obsession", the last album they put out in 1995, only to be marketed in Australia, Japan, South Africa, and Asia.

That glimpse of a short trip a boy band, which comes from the land of kangaroos. Although they could not penetrate the American market, which is a barometer of world music competition, their tracks are still tasted very sweet, in Japan, South Africa, and of course Indonesia.

Fixing a broken heart

There was nothing to say the day she left
I just filled a suitcase full of regrets
I hailed a taxi in the rain
Looking for some place to ease the pain

Ohh..

Pre-Chorus:
Then like an answered prayer
I turned around and found you there

Chorus:
You really know where to start (You really know where to start)
Fixing a broken heart (Fixing a broken heart)
You really know what to do
Your emotional tools
Can cure any fool
Whose dreams have fallen apart?
Fixing a broken heart

I never could understand
What you're going through
Must be a plan that led me to you
Cause all the hurt just disappears
Every moment you are near

Pre-Chorus:
Just like an answered prayer
You make the loneliness easy to bear

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
Soon the rain will stop falling, baby
So let's forget the past
Cause here we are at last

You really know where to start (You really know where to start)
Fixing a broken heart (Fixing a broken heart)
You really know what to do
Your emotional tools
Can cure any fool
Whose dreams have fallen apart?
Fixing a broken heart
Fixing a broken heart...

Why does the sun go on shining?
Why does the sea rush to shore?
Don't they know it's the end of the world
'Cause you don't love me anymore?

Why do the birds go on singing?
Why do the stars glow above?
Don't they know it's the end of the world
It ended when I lost your love

I wake up in the morning and I wonder
Why ev'rything is the same as it was
I can't understand, no, I can't understand
How life goes on the way it does!

Why does my heart go on beating?
Why do these eyes of mine cry?
Don't they know it's the end of the world?
It ended when you said goodbye

Don't they know It's the end of the world?
It ended when you said goodbye

Dan Byrd : Boulevard, An Emotional Moments Song

When talking about the oldies song, the first song stuck in my mind is tunes with romantic lyrics of Dan Byrd in his song titled, Boulevard. When I was a kid, my family often travel out of town.  Every trip, I would have cried and papa often tune catchy oldies song to make me silent.

"Never knew that it would go so far
When you left me on that boulevard
Come again you would release my pain
And we could be lovers again"

I remembered all the lyrics of this song, probably because of the simple lyrics and the music is played with a slow tempo. Why this song embedded in my head? I do not really know, maybe because when listening to this song is emotional moments, the case also with some other songs that are always attached as emotional things either happy or not.

Daniel "Dan" Byrd (born November 20, 1985) is an American actor. His most prominent roles include the 2004 film A Cinderella Story, the 2006 remake of The Hills Have Eyes, the 2010 films Easy A and Norman, the sitcoms Aliens in America from 2007 to 2008 and since 2009, Cougar Town.

Boulevard

I don't know why, You said goodbye
Just let me know you didn't go forever my love
Please tell me why, You make me cry
I beg you please on my knees if that's what you want me to

Never knew that it would go so far
When you left me on that boulevard
Come again you would release my pain
And we could be lovers again

Just one more chance, Another dance
And let me feel it isn't real that I've been losing you
This sun will rise, Within your eyes
Come back to me and we will be happy together

Maybe today, I'll make you stay
A little while just for a smile and love together
For I will show, A place I know
In Tokyo where we could be happy forever

Hearing this song is certainly no stranger to the young people born in 80'-90 '. Humming a song of love has meaning and the lyrics are very easy to understand and sung. Beautiful girl

Beautiful girl, wherever you are
I knew when I saw you, you had opened the door
I knew that I'd love again after a long, long while
I'd love again.

You said "hello" and I turned to go
But something in your eyes left my heart beating so
I just knew that I'd love again after a long, long while
I'd love again.

It was destiny's game
For when love finally came on
I rushed in line only to find
That you were gone.

Whenever you are, I fear that I might
Have lost you forever like a song in the night
Now that I've loved again after a long, long while
I've loved again.

It was destiny's game
For when love finally came on
I rushed in line only to find
That you were gone.

Beautiful girl, I'll search on for you
'Til all of your loveliness in my arms come true
You've made me love again after a long, long while
In love again
And I'm glad that it's you

Hmm, beautiful girl.

Bee Gees : How Deep Is Your Love, five platinum album

In 1960, the band was very famous and until now the song is often heard. One of his songs are familiar ear is "How Deep Is Your Love". The music is soft sounds neat ears, the following is a biography of the Bee Gees band trip.

The three Gibb brothers were very close as children and spent most of their time together. Barry Gibb, born 1946, and his twin brothers Maurice and Robin, who were born in 1949, went on to become one of the most popular bands of the 1970s.

All three siblings were born on the Isle of Man but moved to their father Hugh's home town - Chorlton-cum-Hardy in Manchester - to attend school.

They attended Oswald Road Primary School where they began to sing in harmony in the early 1950s. It is believed that, as with other children their age, they had to lip sync to a record at their local theatre but the record broke. The boys had to sing live and received such a positive response that they decided to pursue a music career.

In 1958, the family moved to Australia, along with their youngest brother Andy and, once there, they began performing regularly and were soon performing on radio with two friends, Bill Goode and Bill Gates.

The group had a new name for themselves, The BGs – made up from the common initials of Barry Gibb, Bill Goode, Bill Gates. A few years later, the name evolved into The Bee Gees, which came to mean the Brothers Gibb. Recognition was slow in coming, and the Bee Gees decided to move to England to try their luck there.

With Robert Stigwood as their manager, the Bee Gees had their first international hit in 1967 with ‘New York Mining Disaster’.

With two new band members, Colin Peterson (drums) and Vince Melouney (guitar), the Bee Gees first album ‘Bee Gees 1st’ was a success. Within just over a year, the Bee Gees had clocked up 24 number 1 hits in 15 different countries.

Their fourth album 'Horizontal' was released in 1968 and became a huge hit spawning the international hit singles 'Massachusetts' and 'World'. This was followed by 'Idea' later the same year, which included the single 'I've Gotta Get A Message To You'.

By 1969 though, cracks were beginning to show, as the group was racked with arguments and tension. Colin Peterson left the band and brought a lawsuit to prevent the name Bee Gees being used in his absence.

Briefly they went their separate ways, but reunited in 1971 to record ‘Two Years On’. While this was well received, they had a series of flops between 1972 and 1975. However, they stayed together as a band and did not split again.

In 1975, with the help of producer Arif Mardin, the Bee Gees moved from a ballad band to an R&B influenced style and released ‘Main Course’. They then released ‘Jive Talkin’ which went to number 1. Their album ‘Children of the World’ went platinum, with three hit singles and, when touring the album, all proceeds went to children’s charities.

The Bee Gees' next project, recording the soundtrack to ‘Saturday Night Fever’ (1977), was another huge success and resulted in some of their best known songs, including ‘Stayin’ Alive’, ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ and ‘Night Fever’. The album was unsurprisingly another number 1, but it set a record of being so for 24 consecutive weeks.

By the end of the decade, the Bee Gees had five albums which had all gone platinum.

In 1988, tragedy struck the family as Andy Gibb, their youngest brother, died, closely followed by their father.

The Bee Gees continued to release well received singles and albums and, in 1997, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Music Awards, a Legend Award at the World Music Awards and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Unfortunately, in 2003, Maurice Gibb died at the age of 53, following complications during an operation. Initially, his surviving brothers announced that they intended to carry on the name 'Bee Gees' in his memory. But as time passed they decided to retire the group name, leaving it to represent the three brothers together. The same week Maurice died, Robin's solo album 'Magnet' was released.

Although there was talk of a memorial concert featuring both surviving brothers and invited guests, nothing materialised. Barry and Robin continued to work independently and both released recordings with other artists.

In November 2011, it was revealed that Robin Gibb had been battling liver and colon cancer for some months and had undergone surgery to combat the disease. He was given a ten percent chance of survival which was announced in early 2012.

Robin appeared and performed with 'The Soldiers' for the Coming Home concert on 13 February and this would be his final performance. In April 2012, he contracted pneumonia and fell into a coma. Robin woke up and appeared to be recovering but he passed away on 20 May 2012 leaving Barry as the last surviving Bee Gee. (source : http://www.lifetimetv.co.uk/biography/biography-the-bee-gees)

How Deep Is Your Love

I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I want to feel you in my arms again
And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show

How deep is your love, how deep is your love
How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down when they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

I believe in you
You know the door to my very soul
You're the light in my deepest, darkest hour
You're my savior when I fall
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do
And it's me you need to show

How deep is your love, how deep is your love
How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down when they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show

How deep is your love, how deep is your love
How deep is your love?
I really mean to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down when they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

How deep is your love, how deep is your love
I really mean to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down when they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

How deep is your love, how deep is your love
I really mean to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down when they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

Kenny G : An Instrumental Player

He was known as an instrumental player, who plays the popular song with saxophone. but when he plays it, there are different colors in the song he played.

he was always concerned about every existing dynamics, so there are times where it's been hard, or soft. He also adds some melody that makes the song become more pleasing to the ear.

that's what makes me believe that Kenny G plays the song by heart. he understands every song he played, so there is a comfort in the heart when we hear it.

Kenneth Bruce Gorelick (born June 5, 1956), better known by his stage name Kenny G, is an American adult contemporary and smooth jazz saxophonist. His fourth album, Duotones, brought him breakthrough success in 1986. Kenny G is the biggest-selling instrumental musician of the modern era and one of the best-selling artists of all time, with global sales totaling more than 75 million records.

Kenny G's career started with a job as a sideman for Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra in 1973 while 17 and still in high school. He continued to play professionally while studying for a major in accounting at the University of Washington in Seattle and graduated magna cum laude. He played with the funk band Cold, Bold and Together before becoming a credited member of The Jeff Lorber Fusion. He began his solo career after his period with Lorber.

Kenny G signed with Arista Records as a solo artist in 1982, after label president Clive Davis heard his rendition of ABBA's "Dancing Queen". He has released many solo albums and collaborated with various artists including Andrea Bocelli, Whitney Houston, Peabo Bryson, Aaron Neville, Toni Braxton, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, Natalie Cole, Steve Miller, Weezer, Dudley Moore, Lee Ritenour, The Rippingtons, Michael Bolton, Celine Dion, Frank Sinatra, Smokey Robinson, Bebel Gilberto, George Benson, Chante Moore and Aretha Franklin. Influenced by the likes of saxophonist Grover Washington, Jr., his own albums are usually classified as smooth jazz.

He received success quite early on, with both G Force and Gravity, his second and third studio albums respectively, achieving platinum status in the United States. These sales were topped by his fourth studio album, Duotones, which sold over 5 million copies in the U.S. alone. His sixth studio album, Breathless, became the number one best selling instrumental album ever, with over 15 million copies sold, of which 12 million were in the U.S. He broke another record when his first holiday album, Miracles, sold over 13 million copies, making it the most successful Christmas album to date.

In 1997, Kenny G earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for playing the longest note ever recorded on a saxophone. Using circular breathing, Kenny G held an E-flat for 45 minutes and 47 seconds at J&R Music World in New York City. That same year, Kenny G's song "Havana", from his album The Moment, was remixed by noted DJs Todd Terry and Tony Moran and released promotionally to dance clubs in the U.S. These mixes went to No.1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs chart in April 1997.

Kenny G's 1999 single, "What A Wonderful World" was criticized in its overdubbing of Louis Armstrong's classic recording. The primary criticism is that a revered recording by an artist such as Armstrong, known especially for improvisation, should not be altered, especially by a musician whose range and depth of understanding of classic jazz was already in question. Some columnists counter the criticism by suggesting that Kenny G's recording would expose a wider audience to classic jazz, though the overall response to his recording tended to be extremely negative.

In February 2000, Kenny G was invited to the White House and performed for state governors and members of the Clinton Cabinet.

As of 2003, Kenny G was named the 25th-highest selling artist in America by the RIAA, with 48 million albums sold in the USA as of July 31, 2006. In 1994, Kenny G won the Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Composition for Forever in Love.

In October 2009, Kenny G appeared with the band Weezer in an AOL promotion of their album Raditude by soloing during "I'm Your Daddy". Kenny G said he knew nothing of Weezer before the performance. Though some music critics thereby rejoined in the common criticism of his work, the unlikely combination was fairly well received by AOL's magazines Spinner.com and Popeater.com.

In February 2011 Kenny G and his music were featured in a Super Bowl XLV ad for Audi called "Release the Hounds." Kenny G later starred in a short film detailing his time as Head of Riot Suppression for the Luxury Prison.

Recently, he made an appearance in the music video for pop star Katy Perry's single "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" as Uncle Kenny. On the October 8, 2011 episode of Saturday Night Live, Kenny appeared with his soprano sax alongside alternative rock band Foster the People as they performed their song "Houdini."

Kenny G is also a radio personality and can be heard every morning alongside Sandy Kovach on WLOQ in Orlando, Florida.

On October 28, 2014, Kenny's 14th studio album release "Brazilian Nights" was announced. According to Kenny, "Brazilian Nights" was inspired by listening to bossa nova recordings by Cannonball Adderley, Paul Desmond and Stan Getz. The new album is due in stores January 27, 2015.

Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You

If I had to live my life without you near my me
The days would all be empty
The nights would seem so long
With you I see forever, oh, so clearly
I might have been in love before
But it never felt this strong

Our dreams are young and we both know
They'll take us where we want to go
Hold me now, touch me now
I don't want to live without you

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You oughta know by now how much I love you
One thing you can be sure of
I'll never ask for more than your love

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You oughta know by now how much I love you
The world may change my whole life through
But nothing's gonna change my love for you

If the road ahead is not so easy
Our love will lead the way for us
Like a guiding star
I'll be there for you if you should need me
You don't have to change a thing
I love you just the way you are

So come with me and share the view
I'll help you see forever too
Hold me now, touch me now
I don't want to live without you

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You oughta know by now how much I love you
One thing you can be sure of
I'll never ask for more than your love

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You oughta know by now how much I love you
The world may change my whole life through
But nothing's gonna change my love for

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You oughta know by now how much I love you
One thing you can be sure of
I'll never ask for more than your love

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You oughta know by now how much I love you
The world may change my whole life through
But nothing's gonna change my love for

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You oughta know by now how much I love you
One thing you can be sure of
I'll never ask for more than your love

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You oughta know by now how much I love you
The world may change my whole life through
But nothing's gonna change my love for
Nothing's gonna change my love for you

Frank Sinatra and Paul Anka : Behind The Story of "My Way"

"And now ..the end is near..and so I face the final curtain ...

My friend i'll say it clear.. I'll state my case of which i'm certain ...

I've lived a life that's full.. I've traveled each and .... "

That piece of lyric "my way" which was popularized by Frank Sinatra in the early 1969. Behind the songs, that included "evergreen" or the old songs has a unique story. This song tells a person who nearly died, which we know has an english lyrical. But,  this original song was create in french language.

Claude francois and Jacquest revaux who created the original version titled "comme d'habitude". This song listened by Paul Anka when on his holiday in the south of France. Anka said that the song was first heard is very bad record, but there is something special on it. then after negotiating the issue of copyright of the song, the song was rewritten his lyric in English. According to Anka, the song is very suitable sung by Frank Sinatra, even though he is a singer. After Paul returned to New York, he quickly composed the song.

After Paul finished writing the song lyric at five in the morning, Paul immediately called Frank, who was located in Nevada. Paul shouted in his phone "I have something very special for you!". When the record company heard it, they were so excited and wanted to record it. But Paul says "hey ... I wrote the lyric of it, but I was not the one person who will sing the song, this song for Frank .. no one else...!".  Although Paul is a famous singer, but he was able to allay his ego, and insisted that the most suitable song brought by Frank Sinatra.

Frank sinatra record this song early in 1969. This song became number one hit in United States. In UK, this song became famous single hits that no rival until now.

That is spark of the story song "my way" that may often we sing while relaxing with friends nearby.

My Way

And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.
My friend, I'll say it clear,
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain.

I've lived a life that's full.
I've traveled each and ev'ry highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I've had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall;
And did it my way.

I've loved, I've laughed and cried.
I've had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that;
And may I say - not in a shy way,
"Oh no, oh no not me,
I did it my way".

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels;
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows -
And did it my way!

Yes, it was my way.

Eric Carmen : all by myself, power of ballad

"All by Myself" is a power ballad by American artist Eric Carmen released in 1975. The verse is based on the second movement (Adagio sostenuto) of Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Opus 18. The chorus borrows from the song "Let's Pretend" that Carmen had recorded with the Raspberries in 1972.

The song was the first released on Carmen's first solo LP after leaving the power pop group the Raspberries and was released as the first single in December 1975 to great success. It reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 1 on Cash Box Top 100 Singles and number 3 in Canada. The single sold more than one million copies in the United States and was certified gold by the RIAA in April 1976. "All By Myself" was Carmen's first of eight U.S. Top 40 hits. In the UK, however, this was his only Top 40 hit, peaking at number 12. In a 2006 poll for UK's Five programme Britain's Favourite Break-up Songs Eric Carmen's version of this song was voted seventeenth.

Carmen thought that Rachmaninoff’s music was in the “public domain” and no copyright existed on it. Subsequent to the release of the album, Carmen was contacted by the Rachmaninoff estate and informed otherwise. An agreement was reached in which the estate would receive 12 percent of the royalties from "All By Myself" as well as "Never Gonna Fall in Love Again", which was based on the third movement from Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2.

Carmen's original version has spawned numerous cover versions by such artists as Celine Dion, Frank Sinatra, Igudesman & Joo and Il Divo.

"All By Myself"

When I was young
I never needed anyone
And making love was just for fun
Those days are gone

Living alone
I think of all the friends I've known
But when I dial the telephone
Nobody's home

All by myself
Don't want to be all by myself anymore
All by myself
Don't want to live all by myself anymore

Hard to be sure
Sometimes I feel so insecure
And love so distant and obscure
Remains the cure

All by myself
Don't want to be all by myself anymore
All by myself
Don't want to live all by myself anymore

When I was young
I never needed anyone
And making love was just for fun
Those days are gone

All by myself
Don't want to be all by myself anymore
All by myself
Don't want to live all by myself anymore

All by myself
Don't want to be all by myself anymore
All by myself
Don't want to live all by myself anymore

All by myself
Don't want to be all by myself anymore

Kool and the Gang : Cherish, a nostalgic song

A Lot of western songs that sounds good. Some may have a profound impression for us. Even a lot of the old western songs could also be preferable to the present. For some people there who have their own memories. Too often we enjoy so profoundly as having a soul or the same story with the song.

Kool and the Gang is an American music group jazz, R & B, soul, funk, and disco. The group was formed in 1964 in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. After its formation and a few years after that, this group of eight people consisting of Robert Bell, known as Kool (bass), Ronald Bell (tenor saxophone), James "JT" Taylor (vocals), George Brown (drums), Robert Mickens (trumpet), Dennis Thomas (alto saxophone), Claydes Charles Smith (guitar), Rick Westfield (keyboards). In 1964, Robert formed an instrumental band called Jazziacs with five school friends during high school. They changed the name of the band became Kool and the Gang and eventually recruited by Gene Redd to cooperate with the record company, De-Lite Records in 1969. They released their debut album later they were given the same name as their group, Kool and the Gang.

Cherish

Let's take a walk together
Near the ocean shore
Hand in hand, You and I
Let's cherish ev'ry moment
we have been given
For time is passing by

I often pray
before I lay down
by your side
If you receive your calling
before I awake
Could I make it through the night?

Cherish the love we have
we should cherish the life we live ( Oo )
Cherish the love
cherish the life
cherish the love

Cherish the love we have ( Oo )
for as long as we both shall live
Cherish the love ( baby )
cherish the life
cherish the love

The world is always changing
nothing stays the same
But love was stand the test of time

The next life that we live in
remains to be seen
Will you be by my side?

I often pray
before I lay down
by your side
And if you receive your calling
before I awake
Could I make it through the night ?

Cherish the love we have
we should cherish the life we live (baby yeah)
Cherish the love
cherish the life (oo yeah)
cherish the love (oo)
Cherish the love we have ( while we're together )
For as long as we both shall live ( will you love me )
Cherish the love
cherish the life
cherish the love

Cherish the love
cherish the life
Cherish the love we have
we should cherish the life we live

Cherish the love
cherish the life
cherish the love
Cherish the love we have ( ev'ry night when I think about you )
For as long as we both shall live
( I pray that my dream will come true )
Cherish the love
cherish the life ( yes I do - cherish the love )
Cherish the love we have ( We have cherished ev'ry moment we have together )
We should cherish the life we live ( hand in hand
you and I )
Cherish the love
cherish the life ( baby ) cherish the love
Cherish the love we have
for as long as we both shall live
Cherish the love

Stevie Wonder : I Just Called to Say I Love You, funny romantic

The song became romantic because it contains elements of surprise. Especially for couples who have been together a long time. Romance was not only chocolate, flowers, dolls and the like anyway. Quite simple things, like calling a lover when ordinary day just to say "I Love You", was the name of a romantic. In the female brain, this unusual occurrence is defined as "well, today he's thinking about me", although sometimes the reality of the man actually less work and just fun to say.

That's what will be said by stevie wonder in his song, i just called to say i love you

"I Just Called To Say I Love You"

No New Year's Day to celebrate
No chocolate covered candy hearts to give away
No first of spring
No song to sing
In fact here's just another ordinary day

No April rain
No flowers bloom
No wedding Saturday within the month of June
But what it is, is something true
Made up of these three words that I must say to you

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart

No summer's high
No warm July
No harvest moon to light one tender August night
No autumn breeze
No falling leaves
Not even time for birds to fly to southern skies

No Libra sun
No Halloween
No giving thanks to all the Christmas joy you bring
But what it is, though old so new
To fill your heart like no three words could ever do

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart, of my heart,
of my heart

I just called to say I love you
I just called to say how much I care, I do
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart, of my heart,
baby of my heart

Louis Armstrong : What a wonderful world, a trumpeter reliable

In the world of jazz, Louis Armstrong's name are already familiar. Has a distinctive voice, Armstrong was also a trumpeter reliable. Armstrong is very popular with his legendary composition. Call it, What A Wonderfull World, Hello Dolly, On the Sunny Side of the Street, When You're Smiling, Jeepers Creepers, and Mack the Knife. The compositions of his song are still popular today. And, New Orleans indeed be proud of it. Louis Armstrong was born in New Orleans on August 4, 1901, and died in New York on 6 July 1971.

Louis Armstrong – What A Wonderful World

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed the day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
But they're really saying is I love you.

I hear baby's crying and I watched them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
Yes, I think to myself what a wonderful world.

John Lennon - Imagine, third best song of all time. But,......

In this post I will discuss about the meaning  of John Lennon's song, Imagine. This song was chosen by the Roolingstone Magazine as the third best song of all time.

I am sure all of you are very familiar with this song. The song that was cool when listening to, and also one of the songs that make me shiver when heard.

But did you know the meaning contained in this song?. Many people interpret this song is a song that is atheist which looks at the lyrics "and no religion too". Although not expressly meaning. He wants us to be atheist and sustain our own lives among human beings so that we can love one another, but without the presence of God.

Another meaning he has seen that it is not a bad religion but religion has been used as a cover and shield to run the war. Maybe he was concerned even annoyed with conflicts in the name of religion.

This song could also mean pluralism was seen in the lyrics "Nothing to Kill or die for Living in peace". Has the spirit of universal humanism. Just like halnua with the spirit of "LC" and "RC", an organization formed by freemasonry, which is dedicated to the world of humanity, regardless of race, religion, and race.

The meaning of pluralism also found in the lyrics of "No need for greed or hunger". "A brotherhood of man". "Imagine all the people". "Sharing all the world". "And the world will be as one". Build a spirit of brotherhood to form a one world without any distinguishing.

But the point I interpret this song to create peace in the world. But it's just the philosophy of John Lennon wrote that too extreme. All that's up to you how you interpret the song belongs to john lennon imagine. But back to the general nature of a song called "ENTERTAINING".

"Imagine"

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

that's truly a man voice

"Have I Told You Lately"

Have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you there's no one else above you
Fill my heart with gladness
take away all my sadness
ease my troubles that's what you do

For the morning sun in all it's glory
greets the day with hope and comfort too
You fill my life with laughter
and somehow you make it better
ease my troubles that's what you do
There's a love that's divine
and it's yours and it's mine like the sun
And at the end of the day
we should give thanks and pray
to the one, to the one

Have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you there's no one else above you
Fill my heart with gladness
take away all my sadness
ease my troubles that's what you do

There's a love that's divine
and it's yours and it's mine like the sun
And at the end of the day
we should give thanks and pray
to the one, to the one

And have I told you lately that I love you
Have I told you there's no one else above you
You fill my heart with gladness
take away my sadness
ease my troubles that's what you do
Take away all my sadness
fill my life with gladness
ease my troubles that's what you do
Take away all my sadness
fill my life with gladness
ease my troubles that's what you do

Brian McKnight : One Last Cry, Sad Ending

I'm like the Brian McKnight's song. I really like the song title '' One Last Cry '' and I think that the meaning of the song was very sad, story about someone who left her partner, her partner has been happy with another man, and she could only see from far away and cry. So tragic.

Brian McKnight is the platinum-selling eponymous debut album released in 1992 by Mercury Records. It features his debut single, "One Last Cry", which reached number thirteen on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was later certified gold by RIAA.

"One Last Cry"

My shattered dreams and broken heart
Are mending on the shelf
I saw you holding hands
Standing close to someone else
Now I sit all alone
Wishing all my feelings was gone
I gave my best to you
Nothing for me to do
But have one last cry

[Chorus:]
One last cry
Before I leave it all behind
I gotta put you out of my mind this time
Stop living a lie
I guess I'm down to my last cry

Cry.....

I was here
You were there
Guess we never could agree
While the sun shines on you
I need some love to rain on me
Still I sit all alone
Wishing all my feelings was gone
Gotta get over you
Nothing for me to do
But have one last cry

[Chorus:]
One last cry
Before I leave it all behind
I gotta put you out of my mind
For the very last time
Stop living a lie

[Bridge:]
I know I gotta be strong
Cause round me life goes on and on
And on ....
And on ....

[Chorus:]
One last cry
Before I leave it all behind
I gotta put you out of my mind
For the very last time
Been living a lie

I guess I'm down,
I guess I'm down,
I guess I'm down...
I guess I'm down...
To my last cry...

Eric Clapton : tears in heaven, the story of Conor Clapton

The song "Tears In Heaven" by Eric Clapton and Will Jennings and sung by Eric Clapton makes us all who heard the song crying. the lyrics  "If I saw you in heaven" and "Here in heaven" very touching the heart. However, behind the song made by Eric Clapton and Will Jennings has a meaning / significance, that this song is dedicated to his children, Conor Clapton.

On March 20, 1991 at exactly 11 noon, boy 4 years old named Conor Clapton died because fall from a window 53 floors in New York City apartment.

Conor is being cared by her mother, Lori Del Santo, who is Italian actress. They live in an apartment while in New York. Eric Clapton, also located in New York (actually Eric's house is located in Surrey, UK) and stayed at a nearby hotel at the time of the accident. Clapton and Del Santo never married. Eric has been married to Pattie Boyd, the former wife of George Harrison at birth Conor, August 1986.

Conor's death make a deep sadness for Eric Clapton. During the 9 months of Eric shrouded deep sorrow and he does not wish to appear. When he returned to the stage, his music has been turned into a softer, more powerful, and more reflective.

Tears in Heaven (written by Eric Clapton and Will Jennings) is a way of Clapton poured his grief and is a form of acceptance of Conor's death. The song was made for the film soundtrack Rush in 1991, but in fact it was made Clapton to reminisce about Cornor.

"Eric and I are involved in the making of the film Rush. We wrote a song called 'Help Me Up' to cover songs. Then Eric saw a scene in the film to be made a song and he said to me 'I want to write a song about my son.'. Eric has written the first verse of the song, which for me is a sense of all the songs, but he asked me to write the rest of the temple there ('time can bring you down, time can bend your knees ...') although I have to say that he had to write the song itself because it is very personal. this song is a sad song and very unique for my experience writing songs. "- Will Jennings

At the 1993 Grammy Awards, Tears in Heaven won three awards for best song, best recording and best male singer .. This song also helped boosted the sales of the album "Unplugged" that became the best-selling album in the history of musical Clapton.

Tears in Heaven

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven

Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven
I'll find my way, through night and day
Cause I know I just can't stay
Here in heaven

Time can bring you down
Time can bend your knee
Time can break your heart
Have you begging please
Begging please

(instrumental)

Beyond the door
There's peace I'm sure.
And I know there'll be no more...
Tears in heaven

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven

Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven
